We have been heavily involved
with domestic cats for the past 16 years travelling throughout the UK
and mainland Europe photographing them for their owners. This has given us
a real (hands on) experience
of some 25,000 domestic cats covering all the breeds and a very large
number of household pets with all their
various characters, personalities, reading their moods, cajoling, wooing
and the gentle handling of sometimes
very nervous or defensive cats, and we have endless patience with the
cats, putting them at ease.
During these 16 years Alan has
had his cat photography published in all five continents and his work is
seen
in books, magazines, calendars, cat food packaging, cd’s, television,
greeting cards, games etc. He has now
decided to concentrate on offering his photographic skills (Portraits) to
the general public in a purpose built,
safe, secure,
cat friendly studio within the cattery, Janet owns and runs.
