Firstly A brief introduction (About Ourselves)

Alan & I (Janet) have been working fulltime with domestic cats for over 16 years,

travelling throughout the UK and mainland Europe photographing them for their owners. This has given us a real (hands on) experience of some 25,000 domestic cats covering all the breeds and a very large number of household pets with all their various personalities, reading their moods, cajoling, wooing and the gentle handling of them. They can sometimes be very nervous or defensive, and we have endless patience and experience in putting them at ease.

I have lived with cats all my life and during the 80’s bred Abyssinians, and more recently Asians.

We have seven cats of our own including a Tiffanie, 1 Asian Smoke, a Burmilla and four moggies who have “adopted us” at various times. I have judged the household pet sections on a number of occasions at cat shows around the country.

Alan has over the last 16 years had his cat photography published in all five continents and his work is seen in books, magazines, calendars, cat food packaging, cd’s, television, greeting cards, games etc. He has now decided to concentrate on offering his feline photographic skills (Portraits etc.) to the general public in a purpose built, cat friendly studio next to the cattery.

We will on all occasions strive to maintain the very high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, security and individual care that presently exist in this cattery for the benefit of everybody concerned, particularly the CATS.
